Mumbai, May 8 -- Celebrity imposters have now crept into cyberspace and have famous Twitter handles. We scoured the timelines of many a twitterverse to find out who the most followed and convincing imposters are. Ranbir Kapoor The dapper actor's bio reads, "I want to make friends worldwide. Have a nice day." Instant imposter alert! With 13,446 followers, the imposter hunk is very popular on Twitter and mighty misleading too. In fact, Ranbir's uncle, the real Shammi Kapoor on Twitter, shamsheraj is a follower as well. Kareena Kapoor She's ranted and squealed independently and through beau Saif Ali Khan, "I am not on Twitter." Yet, her imposter list grows magnanimously. While earlier she maintained it was for actors who don't have real work, she soon reiterated how she was unsure about it a month ago. The only thing remotely close to being a Twitter profile of Kareena is her legitimate fan club. The most convincing imposter has 9,053 followers and tweets only about health and yoga. Katrina Kaif Kaif's imposter bio reads 'The right deal' and the Twitter handle says katrinakaifreal. She apologises for her inability to tweet often owing to shooting schedules, answers fans and goes for dance rehearsals. With 8,090 followers, she follows no real celebs and not even Salman Khan. Really now! Asin Thottumkal The offline Asin is very upset. Her fake imposter(s) want to act in a Tamil movie and had an initimate conversation on Twitter DM with another fellow actress. The real Asin wasn't impressed, especially when the real life vegetarian was quoted as being an exotic meat lover. And this all because of Twitter!
