Mumbai, May 15 (PTI) High powered delegations from India and US will meet next month to take further the deal signed by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and US President Barack Obama, Minister of State for Science and Technology Prithviraj Chavan said today. "A high powered delegation consisting of five to six union ministers from India will meet a delegation of US cabinet officers led by Secretary of State Hilary Clinton for the furtherance of strategic dialogue on the deal that was singed by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and President Barack Obama," Chavan said. It is very rare that such high level delegations meet, he said while addressing scientists and technologists of Institute of Chemical Technology commemorating the National Technology day. Chavan said India celebrates May 11 as National Technology Day to show the world its technological strength and with the signing of Indo-US deal, India could also get out of the technology denial regime. Chavan laid the foundation stone for the ICT-DAE Centre for Energy, a collaborative programme which has already begun. "In fact several countries want to collaborate with India on science and technology and we already have collaborations with 80 countries," he said. .
