Indore, May 10 -- A 16-year-old girl from Indore, who had gone to Delhi, was allegedly raped for over a week by three men, police said on Monday. The teenager was often scolded by her parents over her relationship with a boy in Jaipur. A student of Class 10, the girl used to talk over phone for hours with the boy, which her parents never approved of. Angered by this, she left home for Jaipur on April 22. However, when she reached the Pink City, the boy refused to meet her. Disheartened, she decided to stay in Jaipur and look for a job. She checked into a hotel and talked about looking for a job with the people there. A youth named Vijay, who was present at the same hotel, allegedly promised her a job in Delhi. The girl agreed. Vijay took her to a flat in Rohini, north Delhi, where he and two of his friends allegedly raped her. The police traced the girl in Delhi by tracking her mobile phone calls, after her parents lodged complaint with them, stating that she was missing. The girl was brought back to Indore on Sunday. The victim, who was scared after the incident, gathered courage and on Monday narrated her ordeal to them, police said.
