Krishna visit could boost ties with Kazakh

In an effort to further extend co-operation with Kazakhstan on diverse areas like energy and infrastructure, and to carry forward understanding on civil nuclear energy and hydro carbon sector, external affairs minister SM Krishna is leaving for a three-day visit to Kazakhstan on Tuesday.Accompanied by a senior DEA official, high-level business delegation and senior officials, Krishna, during his visit, will meet his Kazakhstan counterpart Kanat Saudabayev to hold talks on economy, energy and security ties. Enhancing co-operation in agriculture, civil construction, mining, fertilisers, pharmaceuticals and petrochemicals will figure on the agenda.
