Hyderabad, May 28 (PTI) Holding Congress MP Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy responsible for today''s violence at Mahabubabad in Warangal district, the Telangana Joint Action Committee (JAC) called for a bandh in the region tomorrow. "Had the government taken preventive action, all this would not have happened. Jagan and MLC Konda Murali are responsible for the incidents at Mahabubabad," JAC Convener C Kodandaram told PTI. "Telangana youth sought an apology from Murali and a clash took place there," he alleged. The Andhra Pradesh Government failed to prevent the violence as it wanted to satisfy the ego of one individual (Jagan), Kodandaram claimed. Sixteen people, including eight policemen, were injured in the violence. He called for a shutdown in Telangana tomorrow in protest against the incident. Defying high command''s directive, Jagan left for his ''Odarpu Yatra'' in Warangal district in Telangana to console the families of those who allegedly committed suicide following the death of his father Y S Rajasekhara Reddy. The young MP left for Mahabubabad to kick-off his six- day tour by Hyderabad-Guntur Inter-City Express from the Secunderabad railway station in the morning. (More) PTI SJR RSY.
