Poonch, May 10 (PTI) Security forces today busted two militant hideouts and recovered huge cache of arms, ammunition and explosive material in Poonch district, police said. Acting on a tip off, army and police personnel busted a hideout near LoC in Tota Gali belt in Mendhar tehsil of Poonch district this afternoon, they said. The recoveries included two Chinese pistols with 30 rounds, 847 rounds of AK rifles, five anti tank mines, two AGLs, six Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs), one-and-a-half kg RDX and two radio sets, they said. However, no militant was found during the search operation, police said adding militants might have infiltrated from across the border and dumped the cache in the area. Another hideout was busted in Boniwala area in Surankoten tehsil of the district today. The troops recovered one UBGL, five rocket launchers, seven Chinese grenades, 53 rounds of AK rifle and some other goods from there, they said.
